Versatile LED Backlight for 45-75 Inch TVs

This Verilux strip spans 16.4 feet and carries 90 RGB LEDs rated at 7.5 watts. It is designed for indoor accent lighting behind televisions sized between 45 and 75 inches. The USB-powered, 5-volt unit includes both a remote and Bluetooth APP control via the free "Lofur Lanfern" application.

Sustained Low-Power Operation

At only 7.5 watts the strip draws minimal current from a TV USB port or any 5-volt source, so heat build-up during extended viewing sessions remains negligible. The plastic-encased LEDs maintain consistent colour output without the brightness droop that can affect higher-wattage strips run for many hours. Music-sync microphone reactivity stays responsive because the controller is not thermally throttled.

Upgrade from Fixed-Colour or Single-Zone Strips

Buyers replacing a basic white or single-colour LED tape gain per-LED addressable RGB animation, music synchronisation and smartphone control in one kit. The jump is worthwhile when you want dynamic bias lighting that reacts to content or sound rather than static illumination. Shoppers needing longer runs for very large displays or outdoor weatherproofing should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Does the 7.5 W strip add noticeable heat or fan noise during a full evening of use?

The 7.5 W LED strip runs cool and has no moving parts so it adds no audible noise or measurable heat to the room.

What power source must I already have to run the USB-fed light?

Any 5 V USB port or charger that can supply the strip — a TV USB socket, phone charger or power bank will work.

Will the 16.4 ft length cover the rear of my older 45-to-75-inch set without gaps?

The 16.4 ft roll is sized for 45–75 inch displays so it wraps the four edges of sets in that range.
