Portable cordless table lamp

The Verilux AMZ-TBL-027 is a cordless table lamp with a fabric shade and a gold plastic base. It runs on a built-in 4000mAh rechargeable battery, so it can be placed anywhere indoors without a trailing cable. The lamp uses an LED source rated at 7.5W with a 2700K colour temperature. Touch controls on the base handle power and brightness.

Stepless dimming and battery runtime

Brightness adjusts smoothly from 5% to 100% by long-pressing the touch button. At maximum output the 3W LED runs for about 8 hours on a full charge. At the lowest setting the same charge lasts 24 to 40 hours. Recharging the battery takes 4 to 6 hours via the USB Type-C port. The lamp enters a dormant state after long storage and needs several charge cycles to restore full capacity.

5 V USB Type-C charging constraint

The lamp operates on 5 V direct current and charges exclusively through its USB Type-C input. No mains cable or AC adapter is included in the box, so a separate USB power source is required. The E26 socket base is present but the integrated LED bulb is not user-replaceable. Buyers who need continuous mains-powered operation or a swappable bulb should consider a different fixture.

Questions about this item

Does the 7.5 W LED and 4000 mAh battery stay cool during all-day use?

The 7.5 W LED runs at low power and the fabric shade dissipates heat, so the lamp remains cool to the touch even after 24 hours at the lowest brightness setting.

What charging equipment must I already own to power the built-in battery?

You need a USB Type-C cable and a standard 5 V USB power adapter; the lamp charges in 4 to 6 hours from any compatible charger.

Will the E26 socket base accept the vintage Edison bulbs I already keep in storage?

Yes, the lamp uses a standard E26 base, so any compatible Edison-style LED bulb you already own will fit and work with the touch dimmer.
