Verilux HM-2 120 LED 960 lumen IP65 accent lighting

Solar wall light with motion sensor

The Verilux HM-2 is a solar-powered wall light fitted with 120 LEDs that deliver 960 lumen of daylight-white output. It mounts on exterior walls and uses a built-in PIR sensor to trigger illumination when movement is detected. The IP65-rated ABS housing withstands rain and dust, while the 20.5 % efficient monocrystalline panel charges the internal 3.7 V battery during daylight hours. Three selectable modes cover motion-only, dusk-to-dawn and adaptive brightness behaviours.

Gardens, paths and driveways needing automatic light

This unit suits homeowners who want wire-free security lighting for boundaries, patios or entrance ways where mains wiring is impractical. The 270° wide-angle spread covers a broad zone with a single fixture. Buyers who require constant high-output floodlighting all night, or who need integrated camera or smart-home connectivity, should look at alternative solutions because this model provides only standalone sensor operation.

120 LEDs producing 960 lumen at 270°

The single specification that decides suitability is the 120-LED array rated at 960 lumen with a 270° lighting angle. This combination determines how far and how broadly the light reaches when the motion sensor activates, and whether the brightness meets the intended security or way-finding requirement.
