Smart corner lamp with app and remote

The Verilux LDD-1 Caelumslvd is a modern floor lamp that fits into a corner and produces 16 million colours through its integrated RGB LEDs. It stands 35 to 40 inches tall with a 4.72 inch square footprint and is controlled by a handheld remote or a Bluetooth smartphone app. The lamp offers 68 preset dynamic modes plus more than 300 additional scenes for ambient lighting.

Rooms wanting colour-changing ambience

This lamp suits living rooms, bedrooms or gaming spaces where the priority is adjustable colour and scene effects synced to music or a timer. It is not for buyers who need high-output white task lighting, adjustable colour temperature for reading, or a fixture that mounts to a wall or ceiling.

16 million colour RGB output

The single specification that decides suitability is the 16 million colour RGB capability with 68 plus dynamic modes and music synchronisation. If the project requires pure white illumination, high CRI accuracy or non-smart switching, this model will not meet that need.

Questions about this item

How much floor space does the 4.72-inch square base require?

The lamp stands on a 4.72 by 4.72 inch footprint, so it fits in a corner without intruding into the room.

Which step in the Bluetooth app setup is most often missed?

Scanning the QR code printed on the installation manual to download the app before pairing the lamp.

What part of the LDD-1 would need attention if the LEDs dim after extended use?

The integrated LED strip inside the 52-inch plastic shade is not user-replaceable; the whole unit would require service.
