17-inch RGB monitor light bar

The Verilux MLB-001 is a 17-inch LED accent light that clamps to curved or flat screens. It provides a flicker-free front beam with Ra>92 colour rendering and a 15-colour RGB backlight for immersive ambient effects. The unit suits home offices, creative studios and gaming setups where desk space is limited.

Check monitor thickness and USB power

Verify that your screen bezel fits the secure grip clamp and that a free USB-C port or the supplied DC 5V 2A adapter can deliver power. The 1.5-metre cable must reach the chosen power source without tension. Two AAA batteries for the wireless remote are not included.

Sustained output and thermal behaviour

The 7.5-watt LED array runs at a constant 10-watt efficiency rating during extended sessions. The aluminium shade dissipates heat so colour temperature stays stable across the 2700K to 6700K range. The 45-degree asymmetrical beam keeps glare off the panel even after hours of continuous use.

Questions about this item

Does the box include the 1.5 m USB-C cable and DC 5 V 2 A adapter, or must they be purchased separately?

The package includes the 1.5 m USB-C cable and the DC 5 V 2 A adapter; only the 2 AAA batteries for the wireless remote are not supplied.

Which colour temperature range does the front LED cover for work and gaming?

The front light adjusts continuously from 2700 K to 6700 K, letting you match warm evening tones or cool daylight for any task.

How does the 45-degree asymmetrical beam affect screen glare on a curved monitor?

The 45-degree beam directs light onto the desk while avoiding the screen surface, so reflections and glare stay off both flat and curved displays.
