Secure four-port KVM for dual-head workstations

The Vertiv Cybex SC945DPHC-400 is a 1U desktop KVM switch that lets a single user control four connected computers using one keyboard, mouse and two monitors. It targets environments where data separation is mandatory, such as government or defence desks handling multiple classification levels.

Dual video and USB-C console interface

Each of the four ports supports dual-head output up to 4K at 60 Hz through a combination of HDMI and DisplayPort connections. The console side provides three USB ports for keyboard, mouse and peripheral sharing, while USB-C on the front simplifies laptop docking without extra adapters.

NIAP 4.0 certification and CAC reader included

The switch ships with NIAP version 4.0 validation and TAA compliance, confirming hardware-enforced isolation between every channel. A built-in Common Access Card reader enables smart-card authentication at the console, removing the need for a separate reader on each secured system.

Questions about this item

Will the 4K 60 Hz output stay stable during continuous operation?

The switch is rated for UHD 4K at 60 Hz and built for secure desktop use, so the video signal remains stable during extended sessions.

How much heat or fan noise does the 1U unit produce when left on all day?

The 1U chassis uses passive cooling with no internal fan, so it runs silently and generates only minimal warmth during continuous operation.

Which cables must I already have to connect four dual-head computers?

Each computer needs one HDMI cable, one DisplayPort cable and one USB cable to reach the switch's rear ports.
