36 V external battery cabinet

The Vertiv GXT5-EBC36VRT2UTAA is a 2U rack or tower battery cabinet designed to extend backup time for compatible Liebert GXT5 UPS units. It uses TAA-compliant lead-acid batteries and provides a 36 V DC output for scalable runtime in critical infrastructure environments.

9 Ah capacity and three-hour recharge

The cabinet delivers 9 Ah of battery capacity and reaches full recharge in three hours. It supports hot-swappable replacement so runtime can be maintained without powering down connected equipment, though total backup duration depends on the load drawn from the host UPS.

TAA-compliant lead-acid chemistry

The unit uses lead-acid batteries built to meet TAA requirements, making it suitable for government and regulated procurements where country-of-origin compliance is mandatory. Buyers who need lithium chemistry or a different voltage platform cannot use this cabinet.
