External Battery Cabinet for 3000 VA UPS

This 72 V DC battery cabinet extends runtime for the Liebert GXT5-3000LVRT2UXL UPS. It uses lead-acid chemistry and fits a standard rack or tower layout. The unit is hot-swappable so batteries can be changed without powering down connected equipment. Minimum rated life is three years with a maximum of five years.

Suits racks needing extra runtime.

IT teams running the compatible 3000 VA Liebert GXT5 UPS gain scalable backup time in a 3U form factor. The cabinet only works with that specific UPS, so buyers using different voltages, brands or VA ratings must choose a matching cabinet instead. No other compatibility is implied or supported.

72 V DC output with three-to-five-year cell life

The cabinet delivers 72 V DC to the host UPS, providing additional discharge capacity for extended outages. Lead-acid cells are rated for a minimum of three years and up to five years before replacement is required. Runtime scales with load, so heavier draws will exhaust the reserve sooner.
