Transmitter for IP-based KVM extension

The Vertiv HMX6150T-DP is a high-performance KVM transmitter that extends computer access over an IP network. It removes distance limitations between users and system resources. The unit occupies zero-U of rack space and draws power through the USB connection, so no external PSU is required. It is designed for demanding environments such as broadcast and control rooms.

Suited for DisplayPort or HDMI 2K workflows

This transmitter supports resolutions up to 2560x1600 at 60Hz through either DisplayPort or HDMI interfaces. It also provides USB 2.0 high-speed connectivity with True Emulation. Buyers who need higher resolutions, different video interfaces, or longer cable runs without IP infrastructure should consider other options. It is backward compatible with the existing advanced HMX platform.

Maximum resolution 2560x1600 at 60Hz

The single specification that decides fit is the maximum supported video resolution of 2560x1600 at 60Hz. If the target display or source exceeds this resolution or refresh rate, the transmitter will not pass the signal correctly. Verify that both the computer output and the monitor input fall within this limit before purchasing.
