Single-head KVM extender for 4K workstations

The Vertiv LV5500T-400 transmits keyboard, video, mouse and analog audio signals from a single DisplayPort source at 4096x2160 60Hz. It connects over CATx at 5Gb/s or fiber at 10Gb/s using ultra-low latency adaptive compression. No drivers are required and the unit is compatible with all known operating systems. Two USB2.0 Type B ports and an RJ12 serial port complete the console interface.

Plug-and-play installation with status LEDs

The transmitter installs without software or on-site configuration. Four tri-color status LEDs provide immediate link and power feedback. A local DisplayPort pass-through allows a monitor to remain at the source. The 12 VDC 18W power supply accepts 100 – 240 VAC at 47/63Hz. Fiber deployments require an SFP+ module, which is not included.

Extends 4K60 video with USB and audio headroom

The link comfortably handles 4096x2160 at 60Hz with two channels of 24-bit 96kHz PCM audio and USB2.0 peripheral traffic. Bandwidth is limited to 5Gb/s over copper or 10Gb/s over fiber, so higher resolutions, refresh rates or USB3.0 speeds are not supported. Operating temperature range is 0°C to 40°C with 0% to 80% non-condensing humidity.
