Secure KVM Switch

The Vertiv SC940DPHC400 is a secure desktop KVM switch that lets one operator control four isolated computers from a single dual-head console. It combines DisplayPort and USB connectivity with NIAP 4.0 certification to protect data paths in high-security environments. Each port maintains hardware-enforced isolation so signals cannot cross between connected systems.

Workstations needing dual-head security

This switch suits operators who must view two UHD 4K displays at 60Hz while switching among four classified or air-gapped computers. It does not suit setups that require more than four ports, single-head configurations, or analog video connections. Buyers who need HDMI, DVI or VGA interfaces should look elsewhere.

NIAP version 4.0 certification

The defining specification is NIAP version 4.0 certification, which validates that the switch meets the latest Common Criteria Protection Profile for peripheral sharing devices. This assurance level is mandatory for many government and defence procurements. Without it, the switch cannot be deployed in those regulated workflows.

Questions about this item

Do my monitors need to support DisplayPort 1.2 or later to use the 4K 60Hz capability of this SC940DPHC400?

Yes, each connected monitor must accept a DisplayPort 1.2 signal or newer to display UHD 4K at 60Hz through the switch.

Will my existing USB keyboard and mouse work through the USB-C ports on this SC940DPHC400?

Standard USB keyboards and mice connect to the dedicated USB console ports; the USB-C interface carries video and data for the selected computer.

How can I verify the SC940DPHC400 is switching securely between all four ports after installation?

The front-panel port LEDs illuminate only for the active channel, confirming isolated switching; NIAP 4.0 certification guarantees no data leakage between ports.
