Vertu METAVERTU smartphone for luxury users

The Vertu METAVERTU is a new unlocked smartphone built for buyers who value handcrafted materials and a dual operating-system experience. It combines a Snapdragon 8GEN1 processor with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The device runs both a Luxury OS and a Web 3.0 OS, switchable with one click. It is not for buyers who want a conventional single-OS handset or a lower-cost device.

6.67-inch 3D curved display

The main specification that decides fit is the 6.67-inch hyperboloid touch screen paired with an IP68 water-resistant rating. This screen size and curvature define the device footprint and durability envelope. The dual-SIM 5G handset also includes a 64MP rear camera and USB Type-C connectivity for charging and audio. Builders needing a different screen geometry or a lower ingress-protection rating should look elsewhere.

Sustained performance with carbon-fibre chassis

Under sustained load the Snapdragon 8GEN1 and 12GB RAM combination is housed in a chassis that blends aerospace-grade carbon fibre, sapphire crystal and genuine calf leather. The materials are chosen for thermal stability and structural rigidity during extended use. Bluetooth v5.2 and USB Type-C maintain connectivity while the 10T decentralised IPFS storage (VBOX) operates in the background. The phone is not designed for users who prioritise active cooling fans or user-replaceable batteries.

Questions about this item

What does the 12 GB of RAM mean for everyday performance on this handset?

Twelve gigabytes of RAM lets the Snapdragon 8GEN1 keep many apps open simultaneously, so switching between the luxury OS and the Web3.0 OS feels instantaneous even with heavy multitasking.

What does the USB Type-C port actually support on this phone?

The USB Type-C connector handles charging, data transfer and audio output, since the device has no separate analogue headphone socket.

What are the physical dimensions and mounting requirements for the 6.67-inch display?

The handset uses a 6.67-inch 3D curved screen built into a carbon-fibre and sapphire-crystal chassis; it is a sealed IP68 unit with no user-serviceable mounting points.
