Floor Lock with Top Plate

The Vestil FL-LK-4E is a general-purpose floor lock designed to stabilise mobile equipment fitted with 4-inch wheels. It mounts via a steel top plate and is built for industrial or commercial settings where stationary positioning is required.

Bolt Pattern and Height Constraints

The unit fits a B mounting pattern with inside bolt spacing of 2-9/16 inches by 3-1/4 inches and outside spacing of 3 inches by 3-5/8 inches. It operates between a retracted height of 4-7/8 inches and an extended height of 5-7/8 inches for a 5-5/8 inch caster mounting height.

Verify Caster and Plate Compatibility

Confirm that your existing casters match the 4-inch wheel diameter and 5-5/8 inch mounting height before ordering. Ensure the equipment frame can accommodate the 3-15/16 by 4-9/16 inch mounting plate and the specified bolt-hole spacing.

Questions about this item

Does the 4-7/8 in retracted height match my 5 in caster mounting height?

The lock is built for a 5-5/8 in caster mounting height and retracts to 4-7/8 in, so it fits that specification.

How much does the lock raise the cart when I step on the pedal?

Extending the lock moves the contact pad from 4-7/8 in to 5-7/8 in, adding 1 in of lift to hold the load.

Will the B pattern plate with 2-9/16 in by 3-1/4 in inside spacing bolt to my existing casters?

Yes, the top plate measures 3-15/16 in by 4-9/16 in with those inside and 3 in by 3-5/8 in outside bolt centres.
