50 Amp 30-Foot Generator Extension Cord

This 30-foot cord delivers 50 amps at 125/250 volts with a maximum rating of 12500 watts. It uses 6/3 + 8/1 AWG pure copper conductors inside an STW jacket rated for indoor and outdoor use. The assembly includes N14-50P, SS2-50R and CS6364 twist-lock connectors plus a storage strap.

Suits generator owners needing a weather-rated 50

The IP44 rating and twist-lock design keep dust and rain out of the connection during storms or windy conditions. Builders who need a different amperage, a shorter reach or a non-locking plug should look at another cord.

Check your generator outlet

Verify the male and female ends correspond to your equipment before ordering. Ensure the 30-foot length covers the required run without excess slack. Confirm the 125/250 volt rating matches your circuit.

Questions about this item

What generator outlet do I need to plug the N14-50P end of this cord into?

The N14-50P plug fits a 125/250V 50A NEMA 14-50R receptacle on the generator.

Can I connect the CS6364 twist-lock end to an older SS2-50R inlet on my transfer switch?

Yes, the cord includes an SS2-50R connector that mates with a CS6364 inlet, so older SS2-50R hardware will accept it.

How can I confirm the twist-lock connection is sealed to its IP44 rating after setup?

Insert each connector fully, twist the locking ring until it clicks, and verify the gasket sits flush with no visible gap around the joint.
