This set includes four carbon-steel post bases designed for 3.5-inch square timber posts. Each bracket has an internal tube size of 3.6×3.6 inches and a bottom cross-section of 5.5×5.5 inches. The fully enclosed design prevents wobble and delivers stable support for deck, pavilion or railing projects. A black powder coating adds corrosion and rust resistance for extended outdoor life.

Installation Limits and Fastener Count

Mounting requires drilling holes and driving the supplied M8×60 self-tapping screws, 12×60 expansion bolts, M8 washers and M5×25 wood screws — 24 of the first three types and 32 wood screws in total. An 8–13 mm double-open-end wrench is included for tightening. The 2 mm wall thickness and fixed hole pattern mean the bracket suits only posts that match the 3.6-inch inner dimension; larger or smaller posts cannot be secured.

Carbon-steel construction with a 0.08-inch wall gives each base a solid feel, and the kit weighs 11 lbs (5.0 kg) altogether. The powder-coated finish resists weathering without extra treatment.
