VEVOR 50A Generator Cord & Inlet Box Kit 50FT NEMA 14-50P/SS2-50R

50 Amp Generator Cord Kit

This kit supplies a 50 ft STW cord rated for 50 A using 6/3+8/1 AWG conductors. It connects a generator with a NEMA 14-50P output to a house inlet box through a twist-lock NEMA SS2-50R female connector. The assembly is ETL listed for outdoor use. It suits homeowners preparing for emergency backup power.

50 Foot Cord Length Limit

The 50 ft length sets the maximum separation between the generator and the inlet box. Voltage drop over this distance is inherent to the 6/3+8/1 AWG gauge at full 50 A load. The NEMA 14-50P male plug only fits a matching 50 A generator receptacle. The twist-lock SS2-50R female end only mates with an SS2-50P inlet. No other plug types are compatible.

Flame-Retardant PVC Jacket

Pure copper conductors are encased in flame-retardant PVC that resists heat, UV, rain, wind, snow, soil and rocks during extended outdoor runs. The inlet box measures 178 x 117 x 110 mm with a 27.5 mm knock-out and arrives pre-drilled for mounting. A detachable plug and three screws are included for tool-free installation. The package weighs 18.47 kg and includes a PVC carrying strap and non-woven bag.
