6FT Commercial Exhaust Hood for Food Trucks

The VEVOR 6FT commercial exhaust hood is built from 201 stainless steel for food-truck and concession-trailer kitchens. It measures 70.86 x 29.92 x 35.43 inches and weighs 70.54 lbs, providing a wide capture area for multiple cooktops. The unit includes a chimney pipe, two triangular support brackets and a screw-fitting pack for mounting.

Sustained Capture with Three U-shaped Filters

Three removable U-shaped grid oil filter meshes measuring 19.5 x 19.5 x 1.9 inches handle continuous grease-laden vapour from heavy-duty cooking. The 201 stainless steel resists corrosion and deformation during long service periods. Wide 70.86-inch smoke capture space prevents oil smoke from spreading around the cooking area.

Wall Mount with Triangular Brackets

Installation uses two triangular support brackets sized 15.35 x 9.84 x 1.18 inches and the supplied screw fittings. The 32 kg hood requires secure fixing to structural wall members. Filters detach for cleaning but the large 1800 mm width demands adequate clearance and lifting assistance during fitting.

Questions about this item

How hot does the 201 stainless steel hood get during all-day service?

The hood body is made from 201 stainless steel chosen for its heat resistance, so the metal surface stays cool enough to touch even after continuous use over a 70.86-inch capture span.

What ducting and mounting hardware must I already have to install this 1800 mm wide hood?

You need a compatible chimney pipe or duct run, plus structural anchors for the two 390 x 250 x 30 mm triangular brackets and the supplied screw pack.

Will the three 495 x 495 x 48 mm U-shaped filters fit my existing 30-inch cooktop lineup?

Each filter measures 19.5 inches square, so three side-by-side cover the full 70.86-inch width and handle smoke from multiple 30-inch cooktops simultaneously.
