Auto-Darkening Welding Lens 4.25" x 2

The VEVOR auto-darkening welding lens measures 4.25 x 2 x 0.31 in and weighs 0.094 lbs. It provides a fixed shade 11 dark state and a shade 3 light state for eye protection during welding tasks. Dual arc sensors trigger the filter in milliseconds. The unit suits welders needing a replacement filter for compatible helmets.

Solar-Powered Installation With Two Arc Sensors

The lens fits most standard welding helmets including sugar scoop hoods, pancake helmets and handheld shields. A built-in lithium battery combines with solar charging so no separate battery changes are required. Ensure the helmet aperture matches the 108 x 51 mm dimensions before fitting. Misalignment can prevent the sensors from detecting the arc reliably.

Welders Using TIG MIG MMA ARC Processes

This filter serves operators running TIG, MIG, MMA and ARC applications who want true-colour visibility and a fixed shade 11. It is not suited for jobs requiring variable shade ranges or grind-mode functionality. Buyers needing a larger viewing area or additional sensor count should consider other options.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the lens darkens correctly after installing it in my helmet?

Strike an arc; the two arc sensors should switch the lens from shade 3 to shade 11 within milliseconds, giving a true-colour view of the weld pool.

What comes in the package and do I need to buy a battery separately?

The box contains one 4.25 x 2 x 0.31 in auto-darkening lens; power is supplied by the built-in lithium cell and solar charging, so no separate battery is required.

Which shade level should I choose for TIG, MIG and MMA work?

This model is fixed at shade 11 in the dark state and shade 3 in the light state, suitable for general TIG, MIG and MMA applications.
