Outdoor Kitchen Access Door

The VEVOR BBQ access door measures 30 by 21 inches and is built from cold plate steel with a powder-coated matte black finish. It is designed for flush-mount installation in outdoor kitchen islands or grilling stations. The unit weighs 5.2 kg and includes handles, vents and a full accessory set.

Sustained Outdoor Durability

The powder-coated surface resists rust and water exposure across seasons without peeling. A seamless U-shaped panel and thickened frame prevent warping under repeated thermal cycles from grill heat. Vents allow continuous airflow to reduce moisture buildup behind the door during long cooking sessions.

27 by 18 Inch Rough Opening

Installation requires a precise cut-out of 27 by 18 inches with an extra 0.08 inch clearance for smooth operation. Builders working with different cavity dimensions cannot use this door without modifying the island structure.

Questions about this item

How much heat will the 30 x 21 inch cold-plate door radiate after a full day of grilling?

The powder-coated cold-plate door is a passive access panel with no heating element, so it adds no heat of its own; it simply matches the ambient temperature of the BBQ island.

What cut-out must already exist in the island for the 27 x 18 inch installation size to fit?

A rectangular opening of 677 x 448 mm (27 x 18 inches) plus a 2 mm clearance all round is required before mounting the flush door.

Will the 5.2 kg door align with older stainless-steel cabinets that use a 46 mm frame depth?

Yes, the door frame is 46 mm deep, matching the common cabinet depth, and the U-shaped panel design keeps the face flush with existing carcasses.
