Universal Mounting Plate

The stand provides a 10.6 x 10.6 inch mounting plate with pre-cut slots designed to fit most bench grinders on the market. Its heavy-duty cast iron and steel construction weighs 48.5 lbs to minimise wobbling during operation. The unit stands 33 inches tall for an ergonomic working position.

Workshops Needing Fixed Grinder Support

This pedestal suits users who want a stable, floor-mounted platform for an existing bench grinder and can bolt the triangular base to the floor. It is not for buyers who need a portable or lightweight stand, nor for those who cannot anchor equipment to their workshop floor.

48.5 lb Cast Iron Stability

The 22 kg mass and triangular base comfortably handle vibration from typical grinding tasks while the 33 inch height keeps the workpiece at a natural level. The fixed footprint of 14.6 x 14.6 inches limits placement flexibility in tight spaces.

Questions about this item

What mounting pattern does my bench grinder need to match the 10.6 x 10.6 inch plate?

The stand has a 10.6 x 10.6 inch (27 x 27 cm) mounting plate with universal pre-cut slots that accept most common grinder bolt patterns.

Will the 33.1 inch overall height still be comfortable if I keep my existing low-profile grinder?

The pedestal puts the grinder spindle at roughly 33 inches (840 mm) from the floor, giving an ergonomic working height for most users regardless of grinder thickness.

How can I confirm the stand is stable enough before I start grinding?

Bolt the cast iron base through its three pre-drilled holes to the floor; the 48.5 lb (22 kg) weight and triangular base then eliminate wobble during operation.
