High-Capacity Heat Exchanger

The VEVOR C20 is a water-to-air heat exchanger rated at 160k BTU per hour. It serves outdoor wood furnaces, residential heating and cooling systems, and forced-air installations that demand high thermal output.

Copper-Brazed Epoxy-Coated Build

The unit is fully copper brazed at edges and contact points for leak resistance under 2.5MPa pressure. Epoxy-coated aluminum fins resist corrosion and scaling across an operating range of -40°C to 180°C.

Ready-to-Install Single Unit

The package contains one heat exchanger measuring 25.20 x 20 x 3.62 inches with 3 rows of 3/8 inch copper tubes and 242 fins. No additional accessories or software are included, so installers supply their own piping and mounting hardware.

Questions about this item

How many BTU per hour can the 3-row 3/8" copper tube core actually deliver?

The core is rated for up to 160kBtu per hour, using 3 rows of 3/8" seamless copper tubes with 12 aluminum fins per inch to maximise fluid contact and heat transfer.

What are the exact outside dimensions and port spacing needed to mount the 20x20 unit?

The exchanger measures 25.20 by 20 by 3.62 inches overall, with a 20 by 20 inch effective plate area and 3/8" copper ports on 50.8 cm centres for pipework alignment.

How do you install the heat exchanger so the epoxy-coated fins and copper tubes stay leak-free?

Connect the 3/8" threaded copper ports to the hydronic loop, keep system pressure at or below 2.5 MPa, and orient the unit so air flows across the 242 fins; the most common error is over-torquing the brass fittings and cracking the copper braze joints.
