Artificial Thatch Grass Roof 1.3 x 3.9 ft

This artificial thatch grass roof measures 1.3 by 3.9 feet and weighs 1.3 lbs. It uses PE material with a yellow and black base for tropical décor. The roll contains 12 needles and suits tiki bars, patios, pools and party settings.

Check roof frame spacing and fastening method

Verify that your supporting frame matches the 1200 by 400 mm roll dimensions before ordering. Ensure the structure can accept staples, ties or screws through the PE base. Confirm local fire codes allow fire‑resistant synthetic thatch for permanent or temporary installations.

Sustained outdoor exposure performance

The PE construction resists water absorption and meets fire‑resistant ratings during extended sun and rain cycles. Colour retention holds across repeated UV exposure without the fading seen in short‑term tests. The lightweight 0.6 kg roll maintains shape and does not sag when left mounted for full seasons.

Questions about this item

Does the 1.3 × 3.9 ft thatch roof roll include fixings or do I need to buy staples separately?

The package contains one thatch roof roll and a user manual; fasteners such as staples, nails or ties are not included and must be sourced separately.

Should I choose the 12-needle yellow-and-black-base version or is there another density option for heavier weather?

This model is offered only in the 12-needle yellow-and-black-base configuration; no alternative needle counts or colour bases are listed.

How much coverage does the 47.2 × 15.7 inch mat actually give once it is laid on a tiki hut frame?

The roll covers 1.3 ft by 3.9 ft (0.4 m × 1.2 m), so one piece spans roughly 5.1 sq ft of roof area.
