It reaches 1150 °C in the gold melting furnace and accepts flasks up to 102 x 152 mm. The 280 x 280 mm vacuum hood platform provides 3 CFM extraction speed for bubble-free investment casting of silver, gold and copper.

Installation Notes and Common Issues

The machine ships with a perforated flask, sleeve, gasket, clamp, crucible, tongs and three stainless steel rings of 18 mm, 89 mm and 110 mm inner diameter. The top-mounted oil filling port takes 400 ml of 46# vacuum oil, which is not included. Operators must level the 38.5 kg unit on a stable bench and allow clearance for the heat-dissipating back panel during first use.

Practical Limits of the Vacuum and Melting System

Maximum object size is fixed at 102 x 152 mm, so larger flasks cannot be accommodated. The 1600 W furnace caps melting temperature at 1150 °C, restricting use to alloys that melt below that point. Continuous vacuum performance depends on maintaining the correct oil level and seal integrity of the four rubber rings supplied.
