What It Is

This product is a 20 lbs set of Caribbean Blue fire glass beads designed for fire pits and fire tables. The flat-round beads measure 3/4 in and are made from quartz sand processed to withstand high heat. They add a decorative, reflective element to gas fire features while concealing burner pipes.

Heat Resistance Limits

The glass beads are rated to withstand temperatures up to 600 °C or 1112 °F without melting or darkening. They produce no smoke, odour, or ash during use. This temperature ceiling defines the safe operating envelope for the fire feature in which they are placed.

Decisive Specification

The single specification that determines suitability is the bead size of 3/4 in or 19.05 mm. This dimension must match the burner port spacing and depth recommended by the fire pit manufacturer to ensure proper gas flow and flame presentation.

Questions about this item

How many bags of this Caribbean Blue fire glass do I need for a standard fire pit?

One 20 lb set covers roughly one square foot at a 3/4 in depth; add extra bags for larger pits or a deeper layer.

Will the glass keep its colour after repeated burns at 600 °C?

The quartz-sand glass is rated to 600 °C / 1112 °F and does not melt, darken or produce smoke, so the Caribbean Blue hue stays vivid.

Does the 3/4 in bead size work with any gas burner?

The 19.05 mm flat-round beads suit most residential fire-pit burners and effectively conceal gas piping while allowing flames to dance through.
