What This Tool Does

The VEVOR fish tape is a 100-foot, quarter-inch PET wire puller designed for routing cables through conduit and wall cavities. Its non-conductive material suits electrical work where metal tapes would be unsafe. Electricians and DIY installers use it to feed single or bundled wires around 90-degree bends. The package includes cotton gloves and a fastener for immediate use.

How It Fits a Job

The reel’s ABS and PP housing protects the tape from drops on site and the thumb brake locks the wire during push or pull strokes. A nickel-plated carbon steel pulling head connects to cables so they slide through bends without snagging. The thickened handle reduces hand fatigue while reeling and the 12.6-inch width lets the unit sit on a shelf or in a tool bag.

Sustained Use Behaviour

PET construction resists rust and maintains flexibility over repeated 30.5-metre deployments. The brake holds tension during long pulls so the tape does not unwind unexpectedly. Impact-resistant casing survives daily drops without cracking, keeping the reel round and the tape feeding smoothly. Weight of 1.54 kilograms stays manageable during extended overhead or in-wall work.
