Chips branches up to 49.5 mm through a top hopper and shreds debris via a 17 cm side hopper, driven by a 420 cc 12 HP engine on 10 inch wheels
The VEVOR GCS400 is a 12 HP, 420cc petrol-powered wood chipper shredder mulcher designed for garden and landscaping waste. It processes branches up to 49.5 mm through a top hopper measuring 42.5 × 36 × 66.5 cm and a side hopper of 17 cm diameter. The rotary 0+2 blade system on Q235 steel reduces garden debris to mulch or compost material.
This chipper replaces hand-cutting, bagging and trips to the green-waste centre for branches up to 2 inches thick. The 8.6 kW OHV 4-stroke engine at 3600 rpm handles 80 % of typical garden material in a single pass. The jump is worth it when weekly pruning volume exceeds what a small electric shredder can manage or when mulch is needed on-site for beds and paths.
Property owners with regular pruning, storm-fall branches and leaf loads will benefit from the 10-inch pneumatic tyres, tow handle and 93 kg frame that rolls across lawns and gravel. Buyers who only shred occasional leaves or need a unit that fits a small shed should consider lighter electric alternatives.

The chipper stands 87 cm wide, 73 cm deep and 136 cm high; allow extra clearance around the 42.5 × 36 cm top hopper and the 17 cm side chute for safe feeding.
Bolt the axle kit to the frame, mount the wheels, secure the support legs, then fit the handle; the step often missed is tightening the axle nuts after the legs are locked in place.
Inspect the blades after every 20–25 hours of chipping; sharpen when edges dull or chip, and replace once the cutting profile is worn beyond the factory bevel.
