Shower Pan Kit 60x48 inch

The VEVOR JQ-4860P shower pan kit provides a complete waterproof foundation for bathroom installations. It includes a pre-sloped EPS tray, XPS curb, 304 stainless steel grate, PVC flange, waterproof membrane and installation tools. Designed for DIY renovators and contractors building custom tiled showers.

28 mm Profile Constraint

The assembled pan sits 28 mm high, limiting use to floors where this low profile clears the waste outlet and allows sufficient fall to the drain. The fixed 60 x 48 inch footprint cannot be trimmed, so the rough opening must match these dimensions exactly. No alternative sizes or adjustable curbs are offered.

13.89 lb Capacity and Coverage

The kit covers 1524 x 1219 mm of shower area and weighs 13.89 lb, making it manageable for two-person handling. It suits standard rectangular enclosures but runs out for larger walk-in designs, wet rooms exceeding the fixed footprint or installations requiring a centre drain offset not aligned with the supplied flange.

Questions about this item

Which size should I choose for a 60 by 48 inch shower area?

The kit measures 60 x 48 x 1.1 inch, so it matches that footprint exactly.

What does the 28 mm thickness mean once the pan is installed?

It gives a low-profile 1.1 inch height that still provides the built-in slope for drainage.

How does the 2 inch PVC central flange connect to standard waste piping?

The flange fits a 2 inch PVC drain pipe and is sealed with the supplied waterproof cloth and seals.
