Embossing Plate 10.2 x 4.7 in

This manual die cutter provides a 10.2 by 4.7 inch embossing plate for leather and similar sheet materials. It is built for hobbyists and small workshops that need a sturdy press for cutting and embossing tasks. The unit includes a die pad, handle and basic tools for immediate use.

0.47 in Pressure Stroke Limit

The adjustable pressure stroke reaches 0.47 inch, so only materials that compress or cut within that travel can be processed. Thicker substrates or multi-layer stacks exceeding this depth will not engage fully. The 3306 lb load capacity supports heavy force, but the stroke length remains the hard limit for workpiece thickness.

Steel Frame With Black Oxide Coating

High-quality steel construction and a black oxide finish resist rust and corrosion in damp or solvent-rich environments. Dual guide shafts and limiting screws lock the handle forward to prevent rebound during operation. The 50.1 lb weight and wide base keep the press stable on a benchtop without permanent mounting.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 10.2 x 4.7 in embossing plate or a smaller plate for detailed leather work?

The machine comes with a 10.2 x 4.7 in plate that sets the maximum embossing area; a smaller plate would limit the size of dies you can use.

What does the 3306 lbs load capacity mean when I am cutting thick leather?

It means the frame and roller bearings can handle up to 3306 lbs of force, so the base will not flex when you apply full pressure on dense hides.

How does the 0.47 in pressure stroke limit the materials I can cut?

The 0.47 in stroke is the maximum vertical travel of the handle, so any material stack thicker than that cannot be fully compressed in a single press.
