12V Diaphragm Pump for RV and Marine

This 12V DC diaphragm pump delivers 3.5 GPM open flow and self-primes up to 6 ft. A 7.5 A motor provides steady pressure for RV, camper, marine and lawn sprayer systems. FCC certification confirms electrical safety compliance.

Adjustable Pressure and Thermal Range

Rated pressure is 55 PSI with a 40 to 80 PSI adjustment range. The automatic pressure switch starts and stops the pump when a faucet opens or closes. Santoprene diaphragms and EPDM valves handle liquid temperatures up to 140 °F and ambient conditions from 32 to 140 °F.

1/2" MNPT Ports and Four-Chamber Design

Inlet and outlet connections use 1/2" MNPT threads for direct plumbing. Four diaphragm chambers smooth flow pulsation. Not suitable for installations requiring larger port sizes or higher flow rates than 3.5 GPM.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 1/2" MNPT fittings and avoid leaks on the 12V pump?

Wrap the supplied sealing tape on the male threads, thread the included hose adapters into the 1/2" MNPT ports, and tighten with the provided hex wrench; the common mistake is skipping the tape, which causes drips at the connections.

Which parts of the 3.5 GPM diaphragm pump will need replacement over time?

The Santoprene diaphragms, EPDM valves, and the inline filter are the wear items; inspect the filter regularly and plan to swap diaphragms and valves when flow drops or the 55 PSI switch cycles rapidly.

At what point does the 7.5A motor hit its thermal limit during continuous running?

The pump is rated for liquid up to 140 °F and ambient up to 140 °F; sustained operation near those temperatures with the 55 PSI load will trigger the motor's internal thermal protection first.
