VEVOR Retractable Side Awning 180×600 cm Gray

Outdoor privacy screen for patios and balconies

This retractable side awning measures 180×600 cm and uses 280 g/m² polyester fabric with a PU coating to block wind and rain while providing UV30+ protection. The grey fabric rolls out horizontally from a wall-mounted cassette, creating an instant sheltered zone for dining, lounging or working outdoors. It suits homeowners who want adjustable privacy without permanent walls.

Aluminium frame with spring-assisted handle

The structure relies on powder-coated aluminium alloy poles, a central rotating tube and telescopic supports set at a 2° tilt to prevent sagging. Twelve external hex expansion screws secure the cassette to a solid wall or post; no specialist tools are required. Once mounted, the spring-loaded handle lets one person pull the screen out to any length up to the full 600 cm width and retract it smoothly when not needed.

Replaces fixed fences or heavy canopy systems

Builders who need a permanent windbreak or a second enclosed room will not find that here; this awning is designed for flexible, single-plane coverage that disappears when retracted. The jump from a static screen or tarpaulin is worth it when you want seasonal shade and privacy that can be stowed away in seconds, leaving the facade clean and unobstructed.
