Pool Backwash and Water Transfer

The VEVOR SPDH-3544 is a 4 inch PVC lay-flat hose built for swimming pool backwash and general water transfer. It suits pool owners and maintenance crews who need a long, portable discharge line that rolls up compactly after use.

Pressure and Temperature Limits

The hose is rated for a working pressure of 60 psi and a temperature range of 5 °F to 149 °F. Reinforced 1.5 mm PVC fibre gives burst-proof performance within those limits, but the hose is not designed for sustained pressure above 60 psi or for fluids hotter than 149 °F.

Upgrade from Light-Duty Tubing

This 105 foot heavy-duty line replaces thin garden hoses or short drain tubes that kink, leak or cannot reach the discharge point. The jump is worth it when you need the full 32 metre length, 60 psi rating and included clamps for a secure, leak-free connection.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 105 ft length or a shorter roll for my pool pump?

The hose is supplied as a single 105 ft roll with a 4 in inside diameter and two clamps; measure your pump outlet — if it is 4 in or smaller this roll fits directly, otherwise you will need an adaptor.

What does the 60 psi working pressure mean when the hose is connected to a pool filter?

It means the reinforced PVC wall rated at 1.5 mm thickness can continuously handle 60 psi during backwash cycles without bursting, provided the water temperature stays between 5 °F and 149 °F.

Will the lay-flat design and included clamps seal on a standard 4 inch camlock fitting?

The hose flat width is 6.42 in and the inside diameter is 101.6 mm; the two supplied clamps are sized for that diameter, so they will seal on a 4 in camlock or barbed fitting when tightened correctly.
