Stable Crowd Control Stanchions

Four silver stanchions with 201 stainless steel posts and 32 mm diameter velvet ropes create a portable barrier system. The hollow bases accept sand to reach 7.72 lbs each for wind and impact resistance. Two red ropes span 1.5 m between four-way connectors for flexible queue layouts.

Tool Free Assembly and Layout

Bases arrive at 0.50 lbs and fill to 3.5 kg with sand using the included wrench and screws. Posts stand 890 mm tall on a 320 mm footprint, and the 1.26 inch thick ropes attach without extra hardware. The 14.57 inch wide base keeps the line steady on hard floors or carpet.

Events Needing Temporary Queues

Suits venues that set up and remove barriers daily such as weddings, museums or red carpet arrivals. Not suited for permanent outdoor installations that require ground anchoring or heavier ballast. Buyers needing longer continuous runs should calculate additional rope sections separately.

Questions about this item

How heavy does each stanchion base become when I fill it with sand?

Each hollow base reaches 7.72 lbs (3.5 kg) once filled, giving the post enough mass to resist sudden impacts and wind.

Will the stainless-steel posts get hot or make noise if they stay in direct sunlight all day?

The 201 stainless-steel posts are passive metal components; they generate no heat or noise regardless of how long they remain in place.

What tools or extra parts do I need before I can assemble the four stanchions and two ropes?

The package includes a wrench, four screws with washers, four plug caps and an instruction manual — no additional tools or parts are required.
