Aluminum Diamond Plate Tongue Box

The VEVOR trailer tongue box is a lockable aluminum alloy storage chest built for flat trailers, pickup trucks and RVs. Its diamond-plate surface uses a five-bar pattern with double-sided dusting to resist rust and wear while keeping weight low at 18.1 lbs.

Fits Trailer Tongue Mounting Points

The chest measures 33 x 19 x 18 inch externally with a 16.5 inch front length and 20.08 inch width, allowing it to bolt onto standard tongue frames. An overlapping door and wide sealing strip block rain and snow, while the 66 lb load capacity secures batteries, tools and outdoor gear without adding payload strain.

Upgrade From Open Bins Or Soft Bags

This box replaces exposed totes, cable-tied crates or fabric bags that let water in and gear shift during travel. The rigid aluminum shell and keyed lock keep contents dry, organised and theft-resistant, making the jump worthwhile for anyone who hauls valuables on open trailers.

Questions about this item

How much weight can the 33 x 19 x 18 inch box carry before it reaches its 66 lbs load limit?

The box is rated for a maximum load of 66 lbs (30 kg), so contents heavier than that will exceed the design limit.

Does the aluminium alloy diamond-plate construction stay cool and quiet when bolted to a trailer tongue in full sun?

The aluminium alloy body has no moving parts or fans, so it produces no noise and its temperature simply matches the surrounding environment.

What mounting hardware or brackets must I already have to bolt this 18.1 lbs box to my trailer tongue?

The package includes only the box and two keys; mounting brackets, bolts or a tongue-mount kit are not supplied and must be sourced separately.
