Vibra-TITE 121 Medium-Strength Threadlocker

This Vibra-TITE 121 Series threadlocker is a blue liquid formulated for medium-strength fastening of threaded assemblies. It comes in a one-litre bottle bearing part number 12100. The product suits maintenance technicians and assembly lines that need reliable locking with standard hand tools for later disassembly.

Gap fill, cure behaviour and application scope

The anaerobic compound fills gaps up to .007 inches and cures in the absence of air between metal surfaces. It resists vibration loosening and protects threads from corrosion during service. The formulation is not intended for permanent locking or for use on plastic components where stress cracking could occur.

Questions about this item

How do I apply Vibra-TITE 121 Series Blue threadlocker from the 1L bottle and what step is often missed?

Clean both threads thoroughly, apply several drops of the blue liquid to the bolt threads, assemble the parts and torque to specification; the step often missed is allowing full cure time before loading the joint.

When will the Vibra-TITE 121 threadlocker in the 12100 bottle need replacement?

Replace the bottle if the liquid thickens, gels or no longer flows through the 0.007 inch gap, or once the manufacturer shelf-life date printed on the label has passed.
