Vibra-TITE retaining compound bottle 8.45 oz liquid threadlocker 54825

Vibra-TITE

Vibra-TITE Retaining Compound 8.45 oz 3500 PSI 54825

SKU CH-93AF-V44MW

A liquid threadlocker in an 8.45 oz bottle provides 3500 PSI shear strength for retaining cylindrical assemblies with a .007 inch gap fill

  • Product typeThreadlockers
  • High-strength bonding holds parts with 3500 PSI shear resistance
  • 45 oz bottle supplies enough compound for multiple assemblies
  • Fills gaps up to .007 in for secure cylindrical fits
  • Anaerobic formula locks threads and prevents vibration loosening

High-strength retaining compound

Vibra-TITE 54825 is a liquid threadlocker formulated for permanent assembly of cylindrical parts such as bearings, bushings and press-fit pins. The 8.45 oz bottle supplies enough material for multiple maintenance or production tasks where mechanical fasteners alone cannot guarantee alignment under vibration or thermal cycling.

Cures to 3500 PSI shear strength

After application the compound fills gaps up to .007 inches and hardens into a solid bond that resists shock, corrosion and temperature extremes without loosening. Once cured the joint requires no re-torquing and adds negligible weight or bulk to the assembly.

Questions about this item

How is the Vibra-TITE 54825 retaining compound applied to achieve the 3500 PSI shear strength?

Apply the liquid compound directly onto clean, dry threads or cylindrical assemblies, ensuring full coverage of the .007 inch maximum gap; the anaerobic cure begins only when air is excluded between metal surfaces.

When should the Vibra-TITE 8.45 oz bottle be replaced after opening?

Replace the bottle if the liquid thickens, gels, or fails to flow freely, as exposure to air can initiate premature polymerisation and reduce the 3500 PSI shear strength performance.
