Victor 3-101-2 Cutting Tip for Oxy-Acetylene
This Victor 3-101-2 cutting tip is a one-piece design made from HAWA material for oxy-acetylene hand torches and machine torches. It handles light to medium preheat flames for fabrication, repair and maintenance work. The tip cuts steel from 1 in to 1 1/2 in thick at speeds up to 19 in/min.
One-Piece HAWA Construction and Attachment Fit
The one-piece HAWA build reduces internal joints that can leak or foul during extended cutting sessions. It mounts on Victor CA 1260, CA 1350, CA 1351, CA 1352, CA 24709 and CA 411-3 cutting attachments, so the same tip moves between handheld and machine setups without adapter changes.
Replaces Worn Tips on 3-101 Series Torches
This tip replaces a worn or damaged 3-101 series tip when kerf control slips or preheat becomes uneven. The jump is worth it when cut speed drops below 19 in/min on 1 in to 1 1/2 in plate or when acetylene flow drifts outside the 10 to 18 scfh window. It is not for propane or natural gas systems, nor for cutting thinner than 1 in where a smaller tip size is required.

Questions about this item
What fuel flow range does the 3-101-2 tip need for acetylene cutting?
This tip runs at 10 to 18 scfh with acetylene, delivering a light-to-medium preheat flame that supports a maximum cutting speed of 19 in/min and a 0.09 in kerf on material 1 to 1-1/2 in thick.
Which cutting attachments accept the 3-101-2 tip?
The tip fits Victor CA 1260, CA 1350, CA 1351, CA 1352, CA 24709 and CA 411-3 cutting attachments on both handheld and machine torches.
How is the one-piece 3-101-2 tip installed, and what mistake should be avoided?
Screw the tip straight into the compatible attachment until it seats firmly; the common error is cross-threading or over-tightening the single-piece HAWA body, which damages the seat and causes leaks.
