Victor 8.5" Heavy-Duty Scissors

These scissors are built for everyday cutting tasks at home, in the office, or in the classroom. The 8.5-inch overall length and 3.5-inch stainless steel blades handle paper, cardboard, fabric, and light plastics. Rubberised comfort grips reduce finger fatigue during long sessions. The green finish distinguishes them in a busy supply drawer.

2.5 mm blade thickness limits heavy material use

The blades measure 2.5 mm thick, giving them rigidity for multi-layer cuts but preventing them from slicing thick cardboard, dense foam, or metal sheet. Corrosion-resistant stainless steel maintains sharpness through extended use, rated for 100000 cutting cycles. Adhesive resistance keeps blades clean when trimming tape or labels. Left- and right-handed users share the same ergonomic handle shape.

Check handle fit and intended materials before

Verify the 4.1-inch handle loop suits the user's hand size, especially for younger students. Confirm that typical tasks involve paper, light fabric, foil, or thin plastic rather than heavy-duty industrial materials. The 0.272 kg weight feels light for prolonged cutting. Ensure the green colour coding matches your organisational system.
