Roof Mount Antenna Base 36in

The Video Mount Products TR-36 is a surface mount base designed for roof installation. It supports DBS, antenna and satellite equipment. The unit includes a pitch pad kit for angled roof surfaces. It is finished in black powder coat for weather resistance.

Practical limits of roof mounting

The 36in overall height positions the attached antenna above typical roof lines. Steel construction with powder coated finish provides durability against outdoor exposure. The pitch pad kit accommodates sloped roof angles during installation. Weather resistant properties protect the base from environmental conditions.

Steel construction decides suitability

The 9.05 weight reflects the steel material used throughout the base. This mass provides stability for roof mounted antenna installations. Buyers needing a lighter aluminium or composite base for weight sensitive roof structures should consider alternative materials. The steel build determines the load this mount places on the roof.

Questions about this item

Which roof-mount height should I choose for my antenna installation?

The TR-36 provides a single 36 in overall height, giving a fixed elevation above the roof surface for DBS, antenna or satellite dishes.

What does the 36 in height mean once the base is bolted to my roof?

It sets the mast 36 in above the roof deck, placing the antenna clear of most roof lines while the powder-coated steel and pitch pad resist weather.

What mounting interface does the base use and what roof pitches can it handle?

It uses a surface-mount steel base with an included pitch pad kit, allowing secure attachment on sloped roofs while the 9.05 lb weight adds stability.
