Articulating mount for TVs up to 40

The VideoSecu ML531B-A2 is a full-motion wall bracket built for flat panels weighing up to 66lbs. It supports VESA patterns of 200x200, 200x100, 100x100 and 75x75mm, covering most 22 to 37 inch displays and some up to 42 inch. The black powder-coated steel frame includes a removable VESA plate for simpler mounting. A 10ft HDMI cable and a 6-inch magnetic bubble level ship in the box.

Sustained load and daily adjustment

The arm extends smoothly to 20 inches and retracts to a 1.9 inch low profile, holding its position without drift during repeated tilt and swivel cycles. Tilt range is +/-15 degrees and swivel reaches 180 degrees, both operating on the same articulated joints that carry the full 30kg rating. The nesting design keeps the load path short, so the mount stays rigid when the screen is pushed flat against the wall.

Replaces fixed or limited-tilt brackets

This unit upgrades installations that only offer static positioning or shallow tilt, adding full articulation for corner seating or glare reduction. It is not suited for screens larger than 40 inches or heavier than 66lbs, nor for VESA patterns outside the four listed sizes. Buyers needing dual-arm support or in-wall cable management should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Does the articulating arm generate any noise or heat when the TV is left extended all day?

The mount is a passive steel bracket with no moving parts that produce noise or heat; it simply holds the TV at the chosen position.

What tools or wall hardware must I already have before installing this ML531B-A2?

You will need a drill, appropriate masonry or wood anchors for your wall type, a socket set for the lag bolts, and a stud finder to locate secure mounting points.

Will the 200 × 200 mm VESA plate on this mount fit the older 32-inch Sceptre models listed in the title?

Yes, those Sceptre models use a 200 × 200 mm pattern, which matches one of the four VESA patterns supported by this bracket.
