Universal phone clamp for tripod mounting

The Vidpro TA-SP adapter lets you attach almost any smartphone to a standard 1/4-20 tripod screw. Its spring-loaded jaws open from 5.5 cm to 8.5 cm, gripping devices securely without blocking buttons or ports. Photographers and video creators can set up quickly for stable shots or hands-free streaming.

Lightweight alloy build stays cool and silent

The all-metal construction has no moving parts, so it generates zero heat and makes no noise during use. It draws no power and adds negligible weight to the tripod head. The clamp’s tension spring holds firm without slipping, even when the phone is tilted for vertical video.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the TA-SP adapter to a tripod, and what step is often missed?

Screw the 1/4-20 thread into the tripod head until snug, then tighten the lock knob if present; the step people skip is checking that the phone clamp faces the right direction before mounting the phone.

What part of the TA-SP will need replacement first with regular use?

The spring inside the adjustable clamp that expands from 5.5 cm to 8.5 cm can lose tension over time, so the clamp mechanism is the most likely component to need replacement.
