The Viega 79435 ProPress adapter connects 1/2 inch copper tube to a 3/4 inch female NPT thread. It is intended for potable water systems where a secure, press-fit transition is required without soldering or threading the copper side.
Bronze Body With EPDM Seal
The bronze construction and factory-installed EPDM O-ring handle continuous service up to 200 psi and 250 degrees F. The crimp connection remains leak-free under sustained pressure cycling because the mechanical press and elastomer seal do not rely on heat-affected joints or thread sealant that can degrade over time.
Straight Adapter For Press Systems
This fitting only works with Viega ProPress tools and jaws matched to 1/2 inch copper tube size. It cannot be used with push-fit, compression or sweat connections, and it does not adapt to other pipe materials or diameters outside the stated 1/2 x 3/4 configuration.
