Viega MegaPress 4818 tee for steel pipe

This 1" carbon steel tee joins three equal pipe runs in commercial plumbing systems. Cold press technology completes each connection without flame, smoke or cutting oils. The zinc-nickel coating resists corrosion on black, painted or powder-coated steel pipe.

Suited to commercial repairs and expansions

Installers working on existing steel networks gain up to 60% faster assembly than welded joints. The fitting is not intended for domestic copper or plastic pipework, nor for systems that require threaded or soldered connections.

Cold press installation method

A compatible MegaPress press tool is the single requirement that decides whether this tee can be used on site. Without that tool the cold press connection cannot be made.
