Tailored fit for RG handhelds

The ViewSonic carrying case is moulded for the RG353V, RG35XX, RG353VS and R36S retro handheld consoles. A custom inner tray follows each device’s contours and an elastic strap locks it down so the unit cannot shift during transport. The hard EVA shell resists impacts, drops and water splashes while an anti-friction layer shields the screen from scratches. A zippered mesh pocket stores a USB-C cable, SD card and manuals in one place.

Hard EVA shell with water resistance

The rigid Ethylene Vinyl Acetate construction absorbs knocks without deforming, keeping the console safe inside a backpack or luggage. The outer surface repels light rain and dust, and the smooth zipper glides reliably after repeated opening. Weighing only 0.11 kg, the case adds negligible bulk to a travel kit. No internal fans or moving parts mean completely silent operation.

Upgrade from generic pouches or no case

Owners currently using soft sleeves or carrying the console loose gain drop protection, screen defence and organised accessory storage in one step. The fitted tray eliminates the rattling that damages buttons and ports over time. Buyers who need space for multiple consoles, a power bank or larger controllers will find the single-device layout too restrictive.

Questions about this item

How do I secure the console inside the ViewSonic case so it does not shift during travel?

Place the device in the moulded inner tray, then fasten the elastic strap over it; the strap holds the console firmly even if the bag is shaken.

What part of the case will wear first and need replacement?

The zipper and the elastic retaining strap are the moving components; with heavy daily use they will show wear before the EVA shell does.

Which dimension limits what else I can pack alongside the console?

The interior cavity measures 6 by 4.15 by 2.17 inches, so only slim accessories such as a USB-C cable and an SD card fit in the mesh pocket.
