Business DLP projector for meetings and classrooms

This ViewSonic DLP business projector delivers 3000 ANSI lumens at a native 1920 x 1080 resolution. It is built for office presentations and classroom use where a bright, readable image is required. The fixed throw distance of 2.5 metres suits permanent ceiling or table mounting in small to medium rooms.

HDMI input limits external sources to 1080p60

The sole video input is HDMI, accepting a maximum signal of 1280 x 720 at 60 hertz. Native 4K or higher refresh-rate content cannot be displayed. Built-in wireless casting via WIFI 6 and Bluetooth 5.4 audio output are available, but wired sources are constrained by the stated maximum resolution.

30000-hour lamp life sets maintenance cycle

The lamp is rated for 30000 hours of operation, defining the interval before a replacement is needed. Power draw is 21 W. Buyers needing longer uninterrupted runtime or a different throw ratio should consider other models.

Questions about this item

Which brightness and resolution combination should I pick for a lit meeting room?

The 3000 ANSI lumen rating with 1920 x 1080 native resolution keeps text sharp and colours visible even with lights on.

What does the 3000 ANSI lumen figure actually deliver when the projector is running?

It provides enough light for a clear 110 inch image at 2.5 metres in a normally lit office without closing blinds.

How does the HDMI input limit what I can connect?

The single HDMI port accepts 1080p at 60 hertz, so 4K sources downscale to the panel's 1280 x 720 maximum.
