Genuine DMD DLP replacement chip

This genuine ViewSonic DMD DLP chip restores image quality to compatible projectors. It fits the PJD6211, PJD6221, PJD6241, PJD6251 and PJD6253 models. The component is supplied new and intended for technicians or experienced users performing internal repairs.

Tested for sustained projection reliability

Each unit undergoes extensive testing at least three times to verify a clear image with no dead pixels. This validation focuses on consistent output during extended operation rather than a brief functional check. The process aims to ensure the chip maintains stable performance throughout long projection sessions.

Replaces a failed or degraded DMD chip

Install this part when the original DMD chip develops stuck pixels, colour anomalies or a dimming image that cleaning cannot fix. The upgrade is worthwhile when the projector optics and light source remain in good condition. It is not for users seeking higher resolution, brighter output or features the original projector does not support.

Questions about this item

Does the DMD DLP chip generate noticeable heat during continuous projection?

The chip itself is a passive optical component; heat output depends on the projector's lamp and cooling system rather than the DMD.

Which projector models must I already own for this chip to be compatible?

This genuine ViewSonic DMD DLP chip fits the PJD6211, PJD6221, PJD6241, PJD6251 and PJD6253 projectors.

Will the chip work reliably in an older PJD6211 that has run for thousands of hours?

Each chip is tested at least three times to project a clear image with no dead pixels, so it restores original image quality in ageing units.
