ViewSonic Envy 1080p DLP Projector

The ViewSonic Envy is a portable DLP projector that delivers a native 1920 x 1080 resolution at 3000 ANSI lumens. It includes a built-in DVD player and 3W stereo speakers for self-contained playback. Wireless screen mirroring and Bluetooth 5.1 audio streaming are supported for iOS, Android, and Windows devices.

Suited for portable home cinema

This unit suits users who want a lightweight projector for movies or photo sharing in darkened rooms. The fixed 30 Hz vertical refresh rate makes it unsuitable for competitive gaming or fast-motion sports. Buyers needing 4K input, high-refresh gameplay, or wired network control should look at other models.

Native 1920 x 1080 resolution at 30 Hz refresh

The projector’s native panel is 1920 x 1080, but the maximum supported input signal is 1280 x 720 and the vertical refresh locks at 30 hertz. This single specification decides whether the device matches your source material and motion requirements.

Questions about this item

How loud does the 3 W speaker get during an all-day presentation?

The built-in 3 W stereo speakers are designed for small rooms and quiet environments, not for high-volume, continuous use.

Which devices must I already own to send 1080p video to the HDMI port?

Any source with an HDMI output — laptop, streaming stick, game console or PC — can drive the native 1920 x 1080 resolution.

Will a legacy 720p laptop work with the 1280 x 720 maximum input?

Yes, the projector accepts 1280 x 720 signals, so older 720p laptops display correctly without scaling issues.
