The ViewSonic LS831WU is a DLP laser-phosphor projector built for classrooms and corporate rooms. It produces 4500 ANSI lumens at a native 1920 x 1200 resolution with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a 3,000,000:1 contrast ratio. The light source uses two Nichia 67W lasers rated for up to 20000 hours in normal mode.

Fixed lens with digital zoom and keystone

The lens has a fixed optical zoom and a 0.252 throw ratio, projecting a 100-inch image from 0.21 metres. Digital zoom ranges from .8x to 2.0x. Horizontal and vertical keystone correction cover +/-5°, and four-corner adjustment helps square the image. The cabinet supports 360-degree orientation, including portrait mounting.
