ViewSonic PJD6253 Replacement Lamp Module

This 240W P-VIP lamp module fits ViewSonic projectors that use the PJD6253 designation. It arrives as a fully assembled bulb and housing, so installation is straightforward for anyone maintaining a classroom or meeting-room projector. The unit is manufactured to ISO9001 quality standards and supplied new.

Rated Life Under Normal and Economy Modes

In normal operation the lamp is rated for 4,500 hours, while economy mode extends the rating to 6,000 hours. Actual runtime will vary with usage patterns, ambient temperature and how often the projector is power-cycled. The 240W rating reflects the power draw the projector’s ballast must support during sustained use.

Verify Projector Compatibility Before Ordering

Confirm that your ViewSonic projector lists the PJD6253 or RLC-071 lamp code in its service manual or on the existing lamp label. Some models accept multiple lamp versions, so matching the exact part number avoids fitment issues. No other specifications are required for installation.

This module is built for the ViewSonic PJD6253 projector; verify your model number matches before ordering.

Will the 4,500-hour normal life and 6,000-hour economy life hold up on an older PJD6253 that has run previous lamps?

Rated life is 4,500 hours in normal mode and 6,000 hours in economy mode; actual hours depend on the projector's condition and usage patterns.
