Replacement lamp module RLC-082

The ViewSonic PJD8653WS lamp is a new 240W replacement module that ships with the Osram P-VIP bulb already fitted inside its housing. It matches the original RLC-082 part number so it fits directly into compatible ViewSonic projectors without extra assembly. Installation is straightforward because the bulb and cage arrive as one unit. The lamp is manufactured to ISO9001 quality standards.

Suitable for owners of the PJD8653WS projector

This module suits anyone who needs to restore brightness to a ViewSonic PJD8653WS projector using the exact 240W specification. It is not for users whose projector requires a different wattage or a different housing design. Buyers looking for a bare bulb without the cage should look at something else. The lamp serves only the models that accept the RLC-082 assembly.

Rated life 3,500 normal and 7,000 economy hours

The lamp delivers 3,500 hours in normal mode and 7,000 hours in economy mode before replacement is needed. This single endurance figure determines whether the service interval matches your usage pattern. Longer intervals reduce downtime and lower the total cost of ownership. Choose this lamp when those hour ratings meet your maintenance schedule.

Questions about this item

How do I install the RLC-082 lamp module, and what step do people often miss?

Power off and unplug the projector, let it cool completely, remove the old module, insert the new RLC-082 housing until it clicks, then reset the lamp timer in the menu so the 3500-hour counter starts from zero.

What maintenance or replacement will this 240W lamp need later?

Replace the entire module once the Osram P-VIP bulb reaches the rated 3500 hours in normal mode or 7000 hours in economy mode; no user-serviceable parts exist inside the sealed housing.

What limit appears first during sustained use of this 240W lamp?

The 3500-hour normal-mode rating is the first limit; after that the bulb dims and the projector will prompt for replacement.
