ViewSonic PS501X-LAMP replacement lamp

The ViewSonic PS501X-LAMP is a DLP replacement lamp module built for the ViewSonic PS501X projector. It ships as a complete lamp and housing assembly so it can be fitted without extra tools. The unit weighs 0.9990 and arrives in new condition. It restores the projector’s original brightness and colour performance.

For PS501X owners needing a direct-fit lamp

This module suits anyone whose PS501X projector has reached the end of its lamp life and who wants the exact factory-specified part. Buyers who need a lamp for any other projector model or who require a bare bulb without the housing should look at something else. The part number PS501X-LAMP matches the manufacturer’s service documentation.

3,500 lumens with 5,000-hour full-power rating

At full power the lamp delivers 3,500 lumens for 5,000 hours before replacement is recommended. In eco mode the rated life extends to 15,000 hours, giving extra headroom for occasional use. Continuous high-brightness operation will reach the limit sooner, while mixed usage patterns fall between the two figures.

Questions about this item

Which ViewSonic projector model must I already own for the PS501X-LAMP to work?

The lamp and housing module is designed for the ViewSonic PS501X projector, so you need that exact model for it to function.

Will the 3,500 lumen Osram P-VIP lamp run correctly in my existing PS501X without firmware changes?

Yes, it is an original Osram P-VIP lamp and housing built for the PS501X, so it operates at full 3,500 lumen output with no firmware update required.

How do I verify the lamp is performing at its rated 5,000 hour full-power life after installation?

Check the projector’s lamp-hour counter in the on-screen menu; it should start near zero and increment normally, confirming the new module is recognised and tracking its 5,000 hour rating.
